1 simple idea now unites a community of millions

From a Lithuanian start-up

In 2008, our founder Milda Mitkute was moving but had too many clothes to take with her. Justas Janauskas offered help and built a website to give away her clothes to friends. Soon enough, the media wanted in. The duo knew they were on to something – Vinted was born.

To a thriving European business

Today, more than 2,000 people work from our HQ in Lithuania and offices across Europe. Our team spans countries and cultural backgrounds, just like our members.

More than just clothing

Every day, we help our members trade millions of second-hand items, going beyond clothes to include everything from kids’ items to luxury handbags. By keeping items in circulation for longer, Vinted makes it easy for the world to make the most of what we already have
